      Remember the IBM related acquisitions

      Both the acquisition of Red Hat by IBM as well as the acquisition of several IBM products by HCL have recently been closed.

      TIP #2 - July 2019: IBM's recent acquisitions might have an effect on your license compliance position. 


      Both of these acquisitions can have an effect on your compliance position, either on short term notice or at the long term. Be aware of any products you might use or are still installed on your infrastructure. Since you might want to renew your active S&S for these products by the end of the year, this can imply some financial exposure to your organisation that can be avoided.
