Agent Client Collector (ACC)

Below are what we feel are the most interesting new features for Agent Client Collector (ACC) that are being released on Washington DC.

  • Agent Client Collector will now be able to execute application patterns through ACC to discover any applications running on the CI’s.
  • Agent Client Collector will monitor the CI behaviour with the Policy Calculation and Framework Configuration properties. This includes the enhancements to agent Discovery, automatic MID Server selection and logging of any error messages.
  • Agent Client Collector now continuously discovers your Kubernetes cluster resources by using Cloud Native Operations (CNO) for Visibility, keeping the CMDB updated with all the changes.

CMDB Workspace

The ServiceNow CMDB application was also enhanced and updated in the Washington DC release. In the updated CMDB Workspace:

  • You will be able to access the CMDB Data Manager and the Data Certification from the workspace, as it will be fully integrated and built using UI Builder;
  • You can resolve de-duplication tasks consistently and in bulk, by creating libraries of de-duplication templates in CMDB Workspace.
  • You can focus on CMDB classes by limiting the scope of data With the Coverage tile in CMDB 360 Dashboard.
  • You can add fields to the recommended metric on the Completeness CMDB Health KPI. This allows you to identify when these fields are not being populated on the tables.
